970-944-2526 Fees for snowshoe trips are based on the type of trip you select -- either a full-day or half-day. Information about our guided snowshoe trips, what they cost, where they start, and reservations are desribed below. If you need more information, please fee free to call us any time (970-944-2526). We offer half-day and full-day snowshoe trips for any number of people. Our vehicles can fit from one to seven people. For groups larger than seven, we take multiple vehicles. Full-day snowshoe trips include lunch, and all trips include waters and pop to ensure that you stay hydrated in our high altitude terrain. Snowshoe trips start at our store, generally by 9 am in the morning, but we always try to accomodate your needs for other start times if we can. Half-day tours end at 12:30 pm. Full-day tours return to The Sportsman at 4 pm. We can pick-up and drop-off at your location if you are staying in Lake City or somewhere along the snowshoe trip route. Snowshoe trip fees do not include guide gratuity (which is discretionary), but it averages about 20 percent. Large group rates vary, so contact us for more information on discounts. Standard snowshoe trip rates are listed here: Walk-ins are accepted, but reservations are suggested, especially during our holiday seasons (like Christmas). Call us at 970-944-2526 or email us at info@lakecitysportsman.com. We require credit cards for reservations and immediately charge you for 50 percent of trip cost. The other 50 percent is charged immediately after the snowshoe trip. Cancel at least 14 days in advance and your fee is fully refunded. After that, the 50 percent up-front charge is not refunded. If you do not show up for your snowshoe trip and do not communicate with our staff, no refund is provided.
