- Adults are $50/person (2 person minimum) Charlie Kolb I grew-up southwest of Lake City in Durango, Colorado and spent much of my time in the surrounding mountains and deserts. My Bachelors degree is in Environmental Biology and I have a deep appreciation for the natural world. As a part time resident of Lake City, it has become a favorite area of mine with some truly spectacular scenary and amazing flora and fauna. My family and I have enjoyed many days of hiking and exploring in the area. For the past two summers, I have worked as a Ranger in Mesa Verde and Yellowstone National Parks. I am an Eagle Scout and also certified as a Wilderness First Responder (a ten day course in first-aid and backcountry medicine). It's going to be a great summer up here in the mountains.
